amused Apparently the Chinese version of Star Wars Episode 3 includes the Chinese subtitles translated back into English. There's a web page about some of the seriously awful results (it was starting to drop images from being hit too much, so don't be too upset if it's not there).
A few examples:
Chancelor Palpatine (Warning that Dooku is dangerous): You two careful, his is a big
Obi Wan: Mr. Speaker, we are for the big
Anakin taunts Greivious: Space General, you and not equal to I think severe
Grevious retorts: Smelly boy
Padme tells Anakin that he's lost it: I am more more than any hero's geoligic change's strong and big
A little later: I can't walk last with you you a road for running about
However, my favorite part was in the discussion following the examples. Several people are laughing and commiserating about how awful the English translation is. Oh irony, this is one of the comments:
